Automatically applies rotation to acquired pages to ensure that the image is rotated correctly. The device must support automatic rotation for this command to have effect.  

There should be no other document correction commands used when applying auto rotation.  The -deskew, -orientation, and -rotation, should not be enabled if -autorotate is used

Please note that TwainSave does not do the actual rotation of the acquired image -- TwainSave is relying solely on your device's internal auto rotation feature to detect whether a document needs to be rotated, and to apply the necessary rotation.  Your device determines whether an image needs to be rotated.  This determination can be things such as a field of text, a barcode, etc.

For devices that do not support autorotation, the -orientation and -rotation commands can be used.
