The DynaRithmic TWAIN library allows developers to easily add TWAIN image retrieval support from scanners and digital cameras to their applications. The following environments are supported:

DTWAIN is implemented as a 32-bit and 64-bit Dynamic Link Libraries, where the functions are callable from any language that supports calling DLL functions.

For those who are not familiar with TWAIN, it is advised that you should become familiar with some aspects of TWAIN. Even though DTWAIN simplifies the intricacies of TWAIN programming to an elementary level, you should always have an idea of what is being done at each step.
